Our innovative modules cover a wide spectrum of marketing theory and knowledge, whilst allowing students to immerse themselves in live, cutting-edge projects.
We recognise the importance of Marketing as a contemporary management function. This is reflected in the number of academics who teach the subject and the breadth of their expertise, gained through a mixture of practical, industrial and commercial experience and scholarly activity.
We offer many students work placements, which deliver real world experience to undergraduates, and opportunities to work on real marketing and enterprise issues in the provision of teaching.
Students have the opportunity to qualify for professional qualifications as we are an accredited centre for the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Market Research Society (MRS).
The links with professional bodies that the Business School has developed reflect both the quality of the teaching offering, and the calibre of the School as a whole.
The Marketing Society is a new, student-led initiative that provides students with a platform to interact and engage with industry professionals through forum discussions, masterclasses and 'society breakfast meetings'. This allows them to simultaneously extend their own professional network.
Our vision is to identify and facilitate value creation between enterprises (including social ventures) and their customers. Our business research is widely regarded and focuses on the customer-firm interaction. Marketing Researchers in Hertfordshire Business Schools are members of the Enterprise and Value Research group.
