We work in partnership with over 250 private and public sector employers to deliver apprenticeship programmes that enable organisations like yours to attract early careers talent and equip their people with the expertise and skills they need to succeed in today’s fast-paced workplaces.

Herts’ apprenticeships are developed in direct consultation with industry and deliver the vocational skills you need today, and in the future - all fully funded by your apprenticeship levy, or 95% funded through Government co-investment if you’re not a levy payer.

You’ll have an expert account manager by your side to manage the entire process, from helping you create a job description, advertising your vacancy and helping you to shortlist suitable candidates through to onboarding on programme all the way to end point assessment.

Why work with Herts?

We deliver the skills and training regional employers need
Working in collaboration with industry partners, such as Herts County Council, multiple NHS trusts, TUI, Leonardo, and MBDA, our apprenticeship programmes deliver the vocational skills and training that our region’s employers need today – and into the future. In addition to receiving support from our skilled, expert tutors, our apprentices’ benefit from high-quality physical and digital resources, and learn and work in inclusive environments conducive to their ongoing development both in classroom and workplace. We have worked with more than 1,250 apprentices studying with us across 12 apprenticeship programmes that are tailored to the regional economy’s high priority sectors: health and social care, engineering, and leadership and management.
We provide dedicated, expert apprenticeship support
We are here to make apprenticeships work for your organisation, with a dedicated account manager to support you throughout the apprenticeship programme lifecycle. We'll help you promote your vacancies and recruit talent into your organisation, through our extensive partnership network of schools, colleges, and the Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal (HOP). We’ll be your trusted partner for delivering successful apprenticeships that help your business grow.
We create accessible and inclusive apprenticeships
At Herts, we’re proud to attract a diverse community, and we’re committed to reflecting this throughout our apprenticeship provision. In addition to 100% of our apprentices securing graduate level employment, our Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic awarding gap is +0.5%, with apprentices from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic groups achieving good degrees at the same level of apprentices from white backgrounds, and 100% of our apprentices who declared a disability achieved a First Class Honours.
