Useful information for Alumni
Inquiries come into us all the time on a wide variety of subjects. We've included the most common in a list below so hopefully this could be your first port of call with any questions you might have.
- I need to order a copy of my transcripts.
- I've lost my certificate and need a replacement.
I can't access my StudyNet account anymore.
Six months after your official course end date, your account will be closed and deleted. We strongly advise you to make sure you save all the information you have uploaded to it when you graduate.
I would like to contact an old classmate.
For data protection reasons we will never share contact details of alumni. We can do a search and if we have valid contact details we can send communication to that person(s) with your details for them to contact you. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like us to contact a classmate for you.
I need a reference.
If you need a reference that confirms your study dates at the University, please email email@example.com.
If you need to get a personal reference from a member of staff you can search for their name via the search bar on this website and contact them directly. If you can't remember the name of any lecturers you should contact your school of study. The email addresses are:

What’s the difference between the Alumni Portal and Handshake Portal?
The Alumni Portal is your way to keep in touch with us. Simply register for the Alumni Portal and you can update your details, book on events and access alumni discounts.
Handshake is the Careers Portal. If you graduated within the last 4 years you would qualify to use it. You can contact the careers team to find out more.
I don't get emails from you anymore.
Oh no! To sign up for our monthly alerts, simply spend a few moments to register on the Alumni Portal. You can then choose how you receive communications from us.
I need confirmation of my award/course dates/study location/language taught in.
To get confirmation of your final award you can visit the Awards website
Our Student Records Team will be able to confirm your course dates/study location and language taught in. You can contact the Student Records Team via email
