Once your application has been seen by the admissions team, they will invite you to an interview by email. You will be given a choice of dates, and can request a different date if you need to.
If you need any special consideration or assistance during the interview, please contact our Admissions Tutor Megan Knight in advance at email@example.com.
If you can’t attend the interview, please let us know in good time. We can arrange an alternative date or may request a digital portfolio, supplemented by an electronic interview if necessary.
This is not a job interview, so you don’t need to wear a suit if you don’t want to. The important thing is that we want to know who you are, and so you should be comfortable and ready to talk about yourself.
During the interview, we will look at your portfolio, and the interviewer will ask about you, your work and your aspirations. We are genuinely interested in you personally and your creative work and may ask you to talk about exhibitions you may have visited, artists or designers you admire as well as your enthusiasm for the course.
During your time with us, we will provide you with more information about the University so you can make sure that it's the right choice for you. This will help inform and confirm your interest in us. There will also be an opportunity to look around our facilities if you haven't already done so.
After your interview the tutor may give you immediate feedback, and a formal decision will be made on your application through UCAS Track. Those applying directly to the University (usually part-time or International students) will be contacted by our Admissions Team.
If you have not heard within a week, please contact our Admissions Tutor, Megan Knight, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
