Campus tours FAQs

Campus tours are an opportunity to visit some of the key learning zones and recreational areas on College Lane and de Havilland so can find out more about student life and picture yourself at Herts!

Can I bring guests?

You can add and amend guests on your booking portal within your confirmation email. You can bring two guests with you, please ensure you include guests when registering and book your session of interest to avoid missing out.

Can I visit both campuses?

Yes, we recommend you do.

Travel and parking information

Parking is available and free on both campuses; please ensure you provide your car registration within the booking form.

Our campus parking is limited and we recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to the campus tour start to ensure you find a parking space.

College Lane

Please park in car park M on College Lane. This is the multistorey car park accessed via the Forum entrance to campus.

de Havilland

Please park in the main car park for visitors and make your way back to the front of campus to the Enterprise Hub

Parking is free on campus however there is an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system running across all of our car parks. If you have not provided your car registration please do so on arrival.

Changing your booking

You can edit or cancel your booking via your booking portal page which is linked within your confirmation emails.

If you can no longer attend, alternatively, you can also take a virtual tour and we also run regular virtual events at key times of your application journey.

I've booked to visit both campuses, what can I do while I wait for the next tour?

If you've booked to visit both campuses, you'll have a bit of time between the two tours. Why not have a break and pick up something to eat on campus or pop over to the Galleria, where there are a number of restaurants, cafes and shops.

After the campus tour, why not take the opportunity to visit the local area? St Albans is only a short journey away, as well as Hertford town.
