How to get involved
Getting involved is easy! Take a look at the volunteering activities available below to see what may be of interest to you – there are opportunities both on and off campus, as well and in-person and virtual events.
To register your interest in becoming an alumni ambassador and volunteering your time, take the following steps:
- Sign into your Herts alumni portal profile. If you haven’t yet registered, you will need to do this first! It only takes a couple of minutes and once your account is verified you will have access to all areas of the alumni portal.
- Once logged in, go to the navigation bar at the top of the screen and hover over 'My profile' – a dropdown menu will appear.
- Select 'Volunteer as an ambassador' from the dropdown menu.
- Select how you would like to get involved and the subject area you studied, and click ‘Update’.
It’s as simple as that. We will then contact you when relevant opportunities arise.
There is no expected commitment when initially registering your interest so if you are thinking about it, but not sure what to expect, then sign up and wait to see what volunteering opportunities come up!
