UH computing education conference

Date: Friday 21 June, 2019 from 10:00 to 16:00

Venue: de Havilland Campus, University of Hertfordshire

Hosted by the Centre for STEM Education, University of Hertfordshire

The programme for this free conference includes sessions for primary and secondary teachers, delivered by practicing teachers, including National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) facilitators and Computing at School (CAS) Master Teachers.

The theme of the conference is, “effective and appropriate pedagogy”. Sessions will introduce activities and ideas that can be used in the classroom.

Free parking and lunch will be provided.

NCCE courses

During the afternoon of the conference, we are hosting two courses from the NCCE core programme. Please book these separately using the links below. These two courses are free for the first teacher from a priority school (schools in category 5 or 6 local authority districts). The fee for teachers from other state-funded schools is £35 plus VAT.
