Live subject tasters and masterclasses, (led by our lecturers), and talks from industry experts offer an insight into your chosen subject. Sessions are often followed by an informal Q&A session, an opportunity to meet staff and current students.

The class will examine key sources and debates. This masterclass is tailored to the A-level History options: AQA 1F Industrialisation and the people: Britain, c1783–1885; Pearson Route H, Paper 3, Protest, agitation and parliamentary reform in Britain, c1780–1928.

17.00 - 18.00Book your place History lecture: American civil rights, propaganda and the Cold War This masterclass will explore links between the Cold War and civil rights in the United States after 1945. It will show a number of Soviet and American films to reveal the international propaganda battle fought over Black Americans.
