Student guides for accommodation

Living on campus

There is a dedicated team of Student Support Officers on both the College Lane and de Havilland campuses. Student Support Officers are responsible for the welfare, pastoral care and discipline of all students living in accommodation.

If you are having any difficulties in accommodation we should be your first point of call. Please feel free to approach us when we are visiting accommodation during the day. You are also welcome to visit us at the Hutton Hub in B440, at the Accommodation Office at de Havilland, or by requesting a member of staff at the Oval helpdesk or Residential Helpdesk at de Havilland. You are also welcome to contact at housingservices@herts.ac.uk.

Our office hours are from 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 – 16:00 Friday.

Outside of office hours please remember that there is always someone to speak to. In case of any emergency in accommodation out of hours, please contact Security and request an RA. You can do this by calling +44 (0)1707 281010, or ext 1010 from any internal phone.
