Routes to higher education
If you want to build on existing qualifications or your experience at work, we also offer many different routes to a Higher National Certificate or Diploma. We have particular specialisms in Art and Design, Computing, Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical) and Civil Engineering Studies, in Sport and Exercise Science, Music and Health & Social Care at HNC/HND level.
If you haven't got the grades you need to go straight to university, we offer an Extended Degree in Engineering. Once you successfully complete this initial year, you'll be able to move on to study for an Honours Degree at the University of Hertfordshire.
If you want to study at university but don't have the qualifications you need, we also offer Access courses in subjects including Humanities, Journalism, Science, Midwifery and Nursing. These bridge the gap between existing qualifications and those you need to study at degree level.
