Parking at the University

Visitor parking

Onsite parking is available for individuals who are visiting the University. Please inform reception of your car registration upon arrival to ensure your parking is valid.

Visitor parking is valid in selected campus car parks.

Event parking

Parking charges are applicable on the College Lane Campus Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30 and de Havilland Campus Monday to Friday 08:00 - 19:00. Please check the signage for further information when you arrive on campus.

Some events may have specific car parking arrangements in place, please contact your event organiser for more information.

Open day events

If you are attending an open day, please keep a look out for our clear signage that will show you where to park. All parking is free on the day.

Commuting student parking

Parking is extremely limited on campus. Please read about the parking eligibility criteria for students commuting to campus.

Residential student parking

Residential parking is extremely limited on campus. Please read about the parking eligibility criteria for students living on campus.

Staff parking

Staff who require parking on campus must register their vehicle with the University’s e-permit to park scheme.

The University's Pay and Display car parks are connected to RingGo.

RingGo is an online system/App that lets you pay for your parking without coins, you just need a payment card and a phone or computer. Find out more about how RingGo works.

Please be aware that RingGo will add a convenience charge to all sessions. You may also be charged for an SMS reminder and a SMS summary charge unless you opt out or switch the notification off.
