Student Success
Student Success aims to transform lives by empowering students. We address the barriers that contribute to lower rates of attainment, continuation and progression amongst students from underrepresented groups. By collaborating with targeted academic schools, other university support services and, most importantly, our students we co-create impactful, diverse and inclusive programmes to support all of our learners.
The Student Success programme is open to undergraduate students who are identified as eligible according to household income, postcode and fees status. It is also offered to specific student groups such as those who are care experienced, independent/estranged or young carers. The programme gives you priority access to a range of opportunities and practical help to enable you to have an enjoyable and successful university experience.
Enrolment into the Student Success cohort is automatic for those students meeting the University of Hertfordshire Undergraduate Bursary eligibility criteria on admission.
