Before you travel
Most international students need permission to study in the UK, so be sure to check your visa requirements using the UK Government website before you start your application. You must apply within six months of your course start date and will need a valid Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number, which the University issues.

eVisa and UKVI account
Your eVisa is your online record and replaces physical documents. After your visa is approved, create your UKVI account using your visa application number, then link your eVisa and check your details are correct before you travel.
You also need to generate a Right to Study share code from your UKVI account to complete your registration.
What documents will I need?
You will need different documents to support your visa application and entry to the UK depending on your nationality and visa route. You will be asked to provide original documents where required.

You should not travel to the UK before your visa start date, and you’ll need to leave the UK or apply for a new visa before it expires. Before you travel, check that your visa type, length, and sponsor details are correct on your UKVI account/eVisa.
