NHS funded courses
In common with other UK universities, the University of Hertfordshire charges tuition fees for undergraduate and postgraduate study, to UK/EU and international students.
The following programmes are funded by the NHS and UK and EU students are not required to pay fees, subject to EU status:

- Adult Nursing MSc - HHMNURA
- Children's Nursing - HHNURC
- Mental Health Nursing - HHNURMH
- Learning Disability Nursing - HHEDNBL
- Dietetics – HHDIET
- Midwifery – HHMBS/HHMED
- Physiotherapy – HHPHY
- Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging – HHRGI
- Radiotherapy and Oncology – HHRTO
- Research Clinical Psychology – RSPD
Bursaries
UK students registered onto the degree programme can apply for a means tested Department of Health (DoH) Bursary. For more information about NHS student bursaries visit: www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk.
NHS Bursary students can apply for a Reduced Student Loan. Read more about student finance loans.A number of Strategic Health Authorities have teaching contracts with Universities for the provision of postgraduate programmes, short courses and study days.
In order to access this source of funding, you should contact the senior manager within your Trust who is responsible for the post-registration/CPD allocation. We will need your application to be counter signed by the appropriate manager to confirm funding.
