Careers events and workshops

Our careers events are designed to help you build confidence and develop key skills. Whether you're looking for help with CV writing and interview prep, or you want to meet prospective employers and find a job, we’ve got an event to support you.

Throughout your time at Herts, events like our graduate and placements fair can connect you with employers offering full-time roles and year-long placements, while international career weeks focus on helping you find work here in the UK.

Our Assessment Centre Experience gives selected second-year students a realistic taste of what it’s like to pursue a new job, from interviews and group tasks to personalised feedback from assessors.

And because we know that a great network can often be the launchpad to an exciting career or getting your start-up business off the ground, we offer a range of events to help improve your networking skills. You’ll also benefit from our employer insight days, pop-up events, and skills workshops to help your career-planning skills shine, and make your future come to life.
