The Art Sci Biennial Plus Symposium Series

The Art:Sci Biennial and Symposium  Series

Every two years, the Art:Sci Lab, in partnership with UH Arts and other partners, hosts an exhibition of art and science collaborative artworks and a related symposium. The exhibition aims to display work of both in-house researchers and external collaborative groups. The focus is to showcase work that derives from a true, co-created, art and science collaboration. The symposium is framed around questions of new methodologies and how creative forms can embody the entanglement of art and science.

Our first exhibition was the launch event Are You Seeing What I’m Seeing (June 2022). Our next biennial and symposium is October 2024 – January 2025, with a symposium in late November. Details will be posted on the site shortly.
