Energy and Sustainable Manufacturing (ENSM) Research Group

The Energy and Sustainable Manufacturing (ENSM) research group integrates two core engineering disciplines to address complex and contemporary challenges in the field. Its research is centred on the development of innovative engineering solutions that respond to the increasing global demands for energy, while simultaneously mitigating environmental impact and enhancing resource efficiency. The group adopts a multidisciplinary approach, combining fundamental scientific principles, advanced computational modelling, and practical industrial applications to tackle real-world engineering problems. Through this integrated framework, ENSM aims to deliver solutions that are not only high-performing and technologically advanced, but also environmentally sustainable and economically viable.
