We welcome applicants from around the world and often accept local country qualifications in line with the course entry requirements. If you have qualifications from Malaysia, we can review your eligibility for your programme of interest. Just send in copies of your academic transcripts and awards when you make your application. Alongside our UK team, we also have representatives in your country who can assist you with your application.

Regional qualifications and entry requirements
For the majority of our programmes, we typically accept the following qualifications from Malaysia:

| Undergraduate (year 1) |
3 STPMs at the required grade (course dependent). UEC students need an overall mark of at least 75% or A1 & A2 Distinction in all exams taken at Senior Middle Level. Maths SPM 1-6C. | IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band OR SPM 1119 1-6C. |
| Undergraduate (year 2/3) | We have a number of credit transfer agreements in place with institutions in Malaysia which allow students to come directly into Year 2 or 3. To check if you are on one of these credit transfer courses please apply and our admissions team will be able to review your case. | IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band OR SPM 1119 1-6C. |
| Pre-masters | A 3rd class honours Bachelor Degree (4 years in Public Universities, 3 years in Private Universities). | IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in any band. |
| Postgraduate taught |
A second lower class honours Bachelor Degree (4 years in Public Universities, 3 years in Private Universities). Maths SPM 1-6C. | IELTS 6.0 or 6.5 (depending on course)with no less than 5.5 in any band OR SPM 1119 1-6C. |
