We welcome applicants from around the world and often accept local country qualifications in line with the course entry requirements. If you have qualifications from Canada, we can review your eligibility for your programme of interest. Just send in copies of your academic transcripts and awards when you make your application. Alongside our UK team, we also have representatives in your country who can assist you with your application.

Regional qualifications and entry requirements

For the majority of our programmes, we typically accept the following qualifications from Canada:

Undergraduate (year 1)
  • Atlantic provinces (NB, NL, NS, PE) Grade 12: 60% average on 5 grade 12 courses, including English and mathematics
  • Ontario Grade 12: 60% average on 6 grade 12 U/M courses, including grade 12 U English and mathematics
  • Quebec Diplome d'Etudes Collegiales (DEC) 60% average on academic courses
  • Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan Grade 12: 60% average on 5 grade 12 courses, including English and mathematics
  • British Columbia Grade 12: 60% average on 4 provincially examinable grade 12 courses, including English and mathematics
  • Northern territories (NT, NU, YT) Grade 12: 60% average on 5 grade 12 courses, including English and mathematics.
IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Pre-mastersBachelor's degree with less than GPA 2.6 out of 4.IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Postgraduate taughtBachelor's degree with minimum GPA 2.6 out of 4.IELTS 6.5 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
