We welcome applicants from around the world and often accept local country qualifications in line with the course entry requirements. If you have qualifications from Zimbabwe, we can review your eligibility for your programme of interest. Just send in copies of your academic transcripts and awards when you make your application. Alongside our UK team, we also have representatives in your country who can assist you with your application.

In order to support our long-term commitment and close relationships in Zimbabwe, our staff provide tailored counselling and assistance to prospective students and their parents on all aspects of studying at the University of Hertfordshire and the UK, including advice on application processes and documentation, pre-departure briefings, assistance with visa applications and help with securing University accommodation.

Regional qualifications and entry requirements
For the majority of our programmes, we typically accept the following qualifications from Zimbabwe:

| Foundation | 5 x O Levels with C grade minimum, including English and mathematics. | IELTS 4.5 with no less than 4.0 in any band. We also accepted Zimbabwean O level with grade C. |
| Undergraduate (year 1) | Entry to year 1 requires completion of A Levels or IB. For details of required A Level/IB scores please refer to the individual course webpages. | IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band. We also accepted Zimbabwean O level with grade C. |
| Undergraduate (year 2/3) | There are no agreed progression routes, but if you're interested in applying to the University after part completion of a degree or completion of a diploma, applications will be individually assessed. | IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band. We also accepted Zimbabwean O level with grade C. |
| Pre-masters | Completion of a 3 year bachelors degree with less than 2.2. | IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in any band. |
| Postgraduate taught | Usually requires completion of a 3 year bachelors degree with 2.2. | IELTS 6.0 or 6.5 (depending on course) with no less than 5.5 in any band. |
