With opportunities to work alongside industry professionals and become part of the crew on live productions, you’ll gain the skills, confidence and experience to support your future career.

Located at the University's College Lane Campus, the production suite combines a professional sound stage with facilities used across Film and Television, Music, Model Design and Special Effects, and Character and Creative Effects. Depending on your course, you could use the space for camera and lighting work, directing and editing, sound recording, prop making, model making, creature effects, scenic construction and set decoration.

Through practical assignments and collaborative projects, you'll apply your learning while developing problem-solving, teamwork and film-set etiquette, and gain an understanding of how work is brought to life on screen. Students will build valuable industry experience, professional credits for their CV and, in some cases, IMDb credits through their involvement in productions.
