Free legal advice and support
We want our students to not only gain great practical experiences and enhance their employability, but to also understand how important it is for them to “give back” to the community and help those in need. That is why we try and ensure our Real World Learning projects give free advice and assistance to members of the public who are struggling with legal issues.
Hertfordshire Law Clinic operates in conjunction with leading local law firms to improve access to justice by providing one-off legal advice on many areas of law.
If you have a First Hearing coming up in one of the local family courts (Watford and Hertford) about issues relating to a Child then we may be able to provide you with support.
We also offer interactive presentations to local schools and community groups about legal issues which would be relevant to them – we call this Public Legal Education or Streetlaw. If you would like to find out more and book a presentation for your school or community group.
