Eating disorders and problems are serious mental health conditions which can involve impacted eating habits and different feelings about food, weight, and body image. Disordered eating can affect a person's emotions and physical health, and they are not just about wanting to look a certain way.
Delivered by Herts Mind Network, this workshop aims to help you:
- Increase your knowledge as to how disordered eating and eating disorders present themselves.
- Spot the warning signs, both physical and emotional.
- Consider the effect of myths and stigma on how you approach the topic of disordered eating.
- Be more equipped to support yourself and others.
- Have an awareness of further services, apps or websites that may be of assistance to someone at risk or with an eating disorder.
