Our Propeller Music and Propeller Stage One programmes strengthen the region’s thriving screen industries by giving students practical, hands-on experience in environments that mirror real production. Developed in partnership with Hertfordshire Film Office and Screen Hertfordshire, they broaden access to creative careers and ensure learners – including those from under-represented backgrounds – gain the skills that employers are actively seeking.

Propeller Music

Propeller Music places students inside live film production sessions across multiple roles and subject disciplines, building technical confidence, problem solving, communication and teamworking skills, and enhancing emotional intelligence, all while providing emerging artists with professional quality live recordings, music performance videos and photoshoots.

Propeller Stage One

Propeller Stage One is a cutting-edge film studio designed to deliver top-tier training in creative and technical skills for the booming film and TV industry. It supports affordable independent film production, while upskilling learners in areas such as set design and build, film art department, production management, camera and lighting, sound, VFX, editing and post-production. This yields a diverse, suitably skilled and experienced workforce aligned with the sector’s precise needs.
