- To support subject leadership in promoting and celebrating a culture of continuous improvement in primary science education
- To build and sustain professional networks and partnerships across the UK and beyond, supporting excellence in primary science
- To use robust evaluation to identify, share, and embed effective practice in primary science leadership.
Our Purpose and Intent
Within every child lies the potential for excellence and a curiosity for life and everything it has to offer – a greatness waiting to emerge, and a wealth of possibility. Unlocking a child’s love of science early on allows them to explore and understand the world around them and their place in it.
We believe every child should be given the opportunity to thrive. A strong foundation in science education is instrumental to achieving this goal.
Through our work with primary schools, providing subject leaders with access to professional learning and membership of an active professional community, PSQM is improving the quality of primary science education across the UK and internationally. We enable children to start their journey through life with the scientific knowledge, skills and mindset they need to make a positive impact in their lives and the society they live in.
