X-ray Rooms, Simulation Spaces and Labs
Our X-ray Rooms, Simulation Spaces and Labs offer students a broad diagnostic imaging environment, providing practice in digital radiography, dental x-ray, virtual imaging, CT, and ultrasound.
Students train with computed radiography and direct digital radiography systems, including dental x-ray equipment for close and panoramic imaging. A dedicated PC lab provides high-definition image viewing and access to MedspaceVR software, which gives students opportunities to work with virtual x-ray, CT, and theatre imaging environments.
Students also use CT, ultrasound, and Medaphor virtual patient simulation equipment, gaining experience across abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and transvaginal imaging.
