Workshop 2 — Maker Space
Workshop 2 provides jewellery-making, plaster, and wet-area facilities, with dedicated technicians and bookable workbenches to support hands-on learning and material experimentation.
The workshop includes specialist spaces for jewellery, a plaster and wet area, and flexible workbenches. Jewellery benches are equipped with hand tools, starter kits, and machine tools including drills, a fly press, rolling mill, polishing machine, and pickling station. Areas are also provided for soldering, pressing, forging, and forming fine metal work.
Two technicians oversee the space, with three more supporting the machine area and 3D printing / laser cutting facilities. The workshop encourages practical experimentation and the development of skills across a variety of materials and techniques.
