Secondary Care Simulation

Our Secondary Care Simulation suite uses virtual reality systems, Laerdal specialist patient manikins, and adaptable hospital areas for advanced training in complex patient care.

Students practise clinical procedures and case management in spaces configured to reflect actual surgical units, acute care bays, and other specialist services. Tutors adjust conditions in real time, requiring students to assess new information as each scenario develops.

The space is used for teamwork, leadership, patient-centred communication, and evidence-based care in controlled scenarios.
