Sand Based Astro
Hertfordshire Sports Village has a floodlit, sand based Astro pitch used for hockey training, competitive fixtures, and other sports.
The specialist surface suits ball control, passing drills, and technical play, with quality ensured via routine maintenance to keep it safe and consistent year‑round. The pitch is mainly used by HertSquad Club Sport teams for training and competitive matches, but is also available for hire by community clubs and external groups.
You’ll find changing rooms with showers and lockers in a nearby pavilion, along with an adjacent paid car park. Step‑free routes and adapted changing spaces ensure accessible use.
