Radiography Simulation Rooms
Our Radiography Simulation Rooms give diagnostic radiography students dedicated spaces to practise imaging techniques used in wards, operating theatres, and specialist clinical settings.
Students use a digital mobile x-ray machine to simulate procedures carried out in intensive care units, general wards, and other hospital areas.
The operating theatre simulation room includes an x-ray image intensifier for techniques used with anaesthetised patients, including orthopaedic and urology examinations. Lifelike patient models mimic human bone and soft tissue, helping students refine image acquisition with realistic anatomical detail.
