Primary Classroom
Our Primary Classrooms mirror real school settings, giving trainee teachers space to practise, plan and teach. From art and design to music, each room supports practical teacher training and readiness for school-based learning.
Dedicated to specific subject areas, these teaching environments help trainees think through how to teach creatively and manage a real class of pupils. In the Art and Design Classroom, students explore lesson planning, classroom layout, display design and creative curriculum development in a replica school setting while considering how pupil work can make learning visible.
The Music Classroom is filled with instruments including a piano, drums and percussion. The space can be rearranged for group work, performance or teaching practice, helping trainees lead active music lessons. It is used across BEd and PGCE.
