Physiology Lab
The Physiology Laboratory is a practical teaching and research space for analysing human responses to exercise using professional sport science equipment.
The lab features treadmills, cycle ergometers, rowing machines, Wattbikes, VO₂ max systems, spirometry, ECG, EMG, and blood analysis tools.
Students carry out structured testing to examine respiratory, cardiovascular, and muscular responses to exercise. Practical work centres on data collection, analysis, and presentation, helping students develop confidence in experimental design and technical operation.
