Nursing simulation wards and skills labs
From catheterisation and wound care to feeding tube insertion and blood collection, our Nursing Simulation Wards and Skills Labs give students access to the core procedures that sit at the heart of nursing practice.
Students work with hospital-standard beds, medical trunking, emergency call bells, clinical equipment, and manikins in ward environments designed to reflect day-to-day nursing care.
The flexible skills labs can be configured as hospital wards, assessment clinics, or treatment spaces. Anatomy models support learning about the body and its systems, alongside practical training in a wide range of nursing procedures.
Private preparation rooms allow trained actors to take part in simulated patient scenarios, while one-way mirrors support independent scenario management. Smots™ technology records sessions using multi-angle video and audio capture for review and feedback.
