A 120-seat performance and teaching venue with grand piano, lighting rig and networked control room for concerts, showcases and live capture.
Supporting performances, recording sessions and production projects, the venue can be reconfigured for a range of activities. Tiered seating folds away to create a substantial live room for ensembles, bands and theatre productions, while movable baffles help control sound during recording. Focusrite RedNet audio networking links the control room with listening and edit rooms across the Film, Music and Media building, allowing audio signals and live feeds to move between facilities. An engineered ceiling helps project unamplified voice during performances and presentations.
