Grass Pitches
You’ll find three grass football pitches and a dedicated rugby pitch at our Sports Village, providing match-ready outdoor space for both competitive and casual play.
University teams use the pitches for training and fixtures, with HertSquad clubs competing against other universities throughout the season. Students and members of the community can also book the pitches for informal games.
Seasonal upkeep means that all four pitches are reliable year-round. A nearby pavilion offers changing rooms with showers and lockers, and there is a paid car park close by. Step‑free routes and adapted changing provision support accessible use.
