Child Nursing Simulation Ward
Our Child Nursing Simulation Ward helps students prepare for careers in child nursing using realistic scenarios and replica clinical settings.
The ward features hospital-standard beds, paediatric monitoring equipment, and a suite of high and low fidelity neonatal and child manikins that simulate symptoms and clinical responses.
Students practise medication administration, emergency interventions, and vital sign assessment in supervised sessions, with a range of simulations including respiratory distress, cardiac arrest, and other paediatric emergencies.
Integrated Smots™ technology allows simulation sessions to be recorded and reviewed, supporting tutor feedback and strengthening students' clinical judgement.
