FAQs
Everything you need to know to start planning your reunion at Herts. When you're ready to get started, contact our Alumni team for support in planning your reunion.
We recommend starting your planning as early as possible, particularly if you would like support from the Alumni team or to secure specific campus spaces. Giving plenty of notice allows us to check availability, advise on facilities, and help circulate invitations if needed.
Some campus event spaces have a hire fee, and you may wish to arrange catering, refreshments, or additional services such as a campus tour. It’s important to consider how you will cover any event costs as part of your planning.
If you are no longer in contact with some of your peers, the Alumni team may be able to help circulate invitations or reconnect you with fellow graduates and staff, provided you give sufficient notice.
To have the best experience at an on-campus reunion, we recommend for it to take place on a weekday during term time. That way more University facilities (coffee shops etc) will be open, and the campus will be busier with students and staff.
Get in touch with our Alumni team to discuss dates, before committing.
There is limited visitor parking on campus and weekday charges apply. If parking on campus, you’ll need to register with Hozah and follow standard parking conditions.
Alternatively, the Park and Ride at Angerland is free from 07:00-22:00, Monday to Friday during term-time.
You may also wish to share public transport options and directions with your attendees.
We’re always keen to hear about alumni reunions and celebrations, wherever you are in the world. Drop us an email or tag the University on social media (@uniofherts).
A donation, whatever the size, makes a real difference, and our Development team is happy to discuss options with you.
