The University of Hertfordshire Business School has partnered with Kyriba, a global leader in treasury management technology, to give students direct access to industry expertise and real-world insights. As a Key Industry Partner, Kyriba will support the development of future finance leaders through a range of initiatives designed to enrich learning and boost employability.

The collaboration will bring together academic learning and industry insight, helping Accounting and Finance students develop a deeper understanding of the technologies, skills and challenges shaping today's finance sector.

At the heart of the programme is a belief that real-world experience builds confidence and capability. Students will grapple with the kinds of real treasury, payments and risk challenges that finance teams face every day, and learn how AI-powered tools such as Kyriba’s Trusted AI (TAI) are reshaping how those challenges get solved.

Over the course of the 2026/27 academic year, the collaboration will engage more than 200 students through a structured series of interactive touchpoints:

●   Curriculum-Embedded Teaching: Kyriba experts will deliver guest lectures within core Accounting and Finance modules, exposing students to real-world treasury, payments, and risk management practices.

●  Hands-On Platform Workshops: Students will train directly on the Kyriba platform, earning a recognised digital credential upon completion to boost their digital resumes.

● Industry Week Insights: Kyriba specialists will participate as technical and career-focused panellists during Hertfordshire Business School Industry Weeks.

Melissa Di Donato, Chair and CEO of Kyriba said:

“The pace of change in finance is extraordinary, and today's graduates are entering a job market that's more competitive than ever. Collaborations like this one matter because they bridge the world of learning and the world of work, giving tomorrow's finance leaders real exposure to the platforms and challenges shaping the industry right now. Capability and confidence go hand in hand, and this is how you build both.

Professor Damian Ward, Dean of Hertfordshire Business School, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Kyriba as a key industry partner supporting our Accounting and Finance programmes. Through this collaboration, our students will gain valuable insight from industry professionals and exposure to the technologies shaping the future of finance. Working with leading organisations such as Kyriba helps us provide an industry-informed learning experience that prepares our students to become the next generation of finance leaders."

The collaboration will commence in September 2026 and forms part of Hertfordshire Business School's ongoing commitment to embedding employer engagement within the curriculum, ensuring students graduate with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-enabled business environment.
