University of Hertfordshire rises in Daily Mail University Guide 2026 rankings
The comprehensive guide ranks over 130 UK universities using a broad set of indicators including teaching quality, graduate outcomes, and student support.
Hertfordshire’s new position reinforces its reputation as one of the country’s top modern universities, while reflecting its continued commitment to academic excellence, career-focused education, and inclusive student support.
Notable highlights include:
- 1st in the UK for Counselling, Psychotherapy and Occupational Therapy (out of 45 institutions)
- 2nd for Teacher Training (out of 53 institutions)
- 2nd for Nutrition and Dietetics (out of 24 institutions)
- Top 10 for Health Science (7 out of 48); Pharmacy and Nursing & Midwifery (8 out of 83); Physiotherapy (8 out of 44)
The University also ranked 25th for its student experience and 42nd for its student support, reflecting its commitment to creating a vibrant and supportive learning environment. Graduate salary outcomes were also strong, with Hertfordshire placed 37th.
