Centre for STEM Education
We sit within the School of Education and deliver STEM continuing professional development (CPD) nationwide. We are proud to coordinate the Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE) UK programme, which in the 2024/25 academic year brought together over 300 science teachers, technicians and practitioners to learn key practical skills in biotechnology and engage in discussion with their peers. In addition, the Centre for STEM Education delivers our own specially curated CPD programme, which includes in-person Recognised Leader as Coach training and mentoring sessions.
