Researchers in the Learning, Memory and Thinking Group carry out innovative and internationally acknowledged research on issues regarding the acquisition, storage, retrieval and utilisation of information by the human cognitive system.

Specialisms include: mechanisms for serial order in working memory, long-term memory and language; prospective and involuntary memory; thought suppression in health and clinical settings; and creativity, insight, and problem solving.
