Seminars and events

Past events:

May 2019: The School will host the 14 meeting of the South East Mathematical Physics Seminar. For details see SEMPS14.

April 2017: The School hosted the eight meeting of the South East Mathematical Physics Seminar.

April 2015: The School hosted the fourth meeting of the South East Mathematical Physics Seminar. This series of meetings brings together mathematical physicists based in and around the South East of England. It is partially supported by a London Mathematical Society Joint Research Groups grant. A particular aim is to integrate our doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers and visitors into the wider community. Other participating institutions include Kent, Surrey, London City, and Cambridge.

March 2013: The School of Physics Astronomy and Mathematics hosted the 2013 UK ICFT workshop, a two day meeting on Integrable Models, Conformal Field Theory and related topics. This was the 17th in an annual series of meetings bringing together the UK and wider European community of researchers in this area. ICFT2013 was supported by the Institute of Physics and the London Mathematical Society.
