Open days at the School of Physics, Astronomy and Mathematics

Open days give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your course of interest and what life is like in the Department of Physics, Astronomy and Mathematics.

Open days

If you have not yet applied to University but would like to visit the School, you are welcome to attend our University open days.

Offer holder days

Already applied for a course? Come along to one of our offer holder days to find out what it is really like to study at the University of Hertfordshire.

You will normally receive an invitation to come along to one of our offer holder days if you have applied via UCAS to study on one of our Undergraduate degree programmes.

These applicant days include:

  • Subject talks
  • An opportunity to talk to staff and current students
  • A one-to-one with your future tutor to ask any questions you may have
  • A tour of the campus
  • Tours of our undergraduate and research laboratories, plus our teaching observatory at Bayfordbury Campus (Physics and Astrophysics)
Taking Financial Maths at Herts was one of the best decisions I have made. I would encourage anyone thinking about it to do so.
