Sri Lanka Telecom
Sri Lanka Telecom Training Centre - Welisara was first established in 1981, while expanding the training arm of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC, which is the national ICT solutions provider and the leading broadband and backbone infrastructure services provider in Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lanka Telecom Training Centre - Welisara premise comprises of all required facilities specially designed to ensure a pleasant learning environment. It consists of fully air conditioned auditorium, lecture rooms, labs, library with e-library facilities and administration offices.
A hostel facility is also available for students. Large sports grounds and a facility for indoor games are also available to encourage students to take part in sports activities and thus ensuring a vibrant campus life.
Lab facilities
Lab facilities are available for the BEng programme, to support laboratory work on taught modules as well as project work. Lab facilities include;
- Digital Systems and Microprocessors Lab
- Communication and Signal Processing Lab
- Electronics, Electrical and Control Lab
- Computer Labs
- Project Lab
- Optical Fiber Lab
