Unfortunately, there is no parking available near the Abbey, even for blue badge holders.

St Albans is a very busy city centre that will be even busier during graduations. We would strongly recommend using public transport if possible.

Tickets

Guests who wish to enter the abbey to watch the Ceremony must have guest tickets.

Tickets will not be available for purchase on the day.

Ceremonies are livestreamed and can be watched live or afterwards online.

During the Ceremony

Guest seating is unallocated and separate to the Graduate seating area.

Children must be attended by an adult at all times. Children must sit with an appropriate adult in the guest seating area.

We ask that guests please stay in their seats throughout the Ceremony, to be considerate of others around them. Please respect all the graduates by remaining silent throughout the Ceremony and applauding each graduate as they walk across the stage.

Luggage, pushchairs and car seats are not permitted inside the Cathedral as they pose a health and safety risk in the event of an evacuation. Due to the security risk, luggage must not be left unattended.
