Entry Requirements

The module is aimed at registered health care professionals currently working in an appropriate area of practice.    Normally students may enter Level 6 study if they have completed a qualification at Level 5, equivalent to a Diploma (120 credits at Level 5).

Induction Days for Semester B new starters is 3rd, 4th and 5th January 2024- attendance is required.

 

The aim of the module is to demonstrate a systematic and evidence-based approach to the management of complex health needs at both individual and population levels across a range of community care settings.

This module will enable practitioners to consider their role in relation to the assessment and promotion of health and well-being of patients and families with complex and challenging needs. Data relating to complex care at individual, local and population level will be evaluated.

The assessment for this module will be:

  • Practical 100% - Presentation.
