Entry Requirements
The module is aimed at registered health care professionals currently working in an appropriate area of practice.
This module can be studied at Level 6 or Level 7. In order to study at Level 6 you will need a diploma level qualification. In order to study at Level 7 you will need a degree level qualification. Students who commence the module have one month from the start date to transfer between levels after this time transfer will be at the discretion of the Programme or Course Lead.
Course Overview
Induction Days for new starters is 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th September 2023 - attendance is required.
The module will be concerned with the development of research skills including, accessing and reviewing the literature, awareness of the principles of research and approaches that may be adopted; an understanding of data collection techniques and frameworks for analysis; ethical issues and their implications for research.
Assessment
The assessment for this module will be:
- Coursework 100%.
