Student paramedic working for the London Ambulance Service

Obinna Okeke is a final year student paramedic at the University, who recently finished their placement and is now working for the London Ambulance Service. He was on placement as the coronavirus outbreak began, treating potential Covid-19 patients when information about the disease was still scarce. In his final placement, Obinna was part of the fast response unit who help the sickest patients.

Working with the London Ambulance Service has been fantastic. Paramedics are often the first responders to an emergency, but it’s great to know that you're there to help someone when they’re most in need.
