Media representation of social work and social policy is at times focusing on a specific social problem in which social care service users, practitioners and policy makers are involved too.
Examples include the impact of armed conflict, child abuse, domestic violence, disabilities, human trafficking, mental ill health, offending behaviour, old age, living in poverty, unemployment of people with disabilities.
