The University's Heritage for Business team work on a range of bespoke projects aimed at supporting small, medium and large corporates, showcasing how they can use their history, to shape their business future.
They develop a range of tools and resources working alongside businesses to help demonstrate how heritage can be used to grow their business; these resources include:

Mulmar Food Services Solutions celebrated 25 years delivering speciality coffee.
Heritage for Business has produced videos for Mulmar Food Services Solutions and the John Lewis Partnership Heritage Centre.
Our expert researchers work with clients to create and deliver a storyboard placing their business history in context, whilst the video is filmed and edited by our professional partner 'Magic Beans Media.' Videos can be used for marketing purposes, as well as for training and internal purposes.
Instant Oral Histories
The University has a dedicated Instant Oral Histories team, led by Andrew Green - veteran BBC oral history producer.
Our team of experts can work with your business and staff to create and capture historical evidence and memories.
· Organise interviews with employees from your business
· Assist you with a recordings archive
· Produce a website capturing key memories from the day that can be used for more in-depth history.

We can organise workshops with clients to discuss the role of heritage in business and look into and develop potential collaborative projects for the future, including bids for external funding.
Previous clients include the John Lewis Partnership.
The University 'Heritage i-teams' scheme was developed to provide students with industry experience and the opportunity to work on a 'real world' problem with a company or institution.
Throughout the project, students work to a brief provided by the company or institution; they are supported for the duration of the project with a mentor or tutor.
Findings and recommendation are fed back to the company through a professional presentation.
Clients who have previously used the service include Letchworth Heritage Foundation and Smith Coffee Company.
Social Media Solutions
Heritage for Business can help your business develop a bespoke social media programme with a heritage focus. We can provide you with support from a University student placement and our academic expertise.

Heritage for Business develops heritage design briefs which are then delivered through staff/student teams and competitions.
